For advertising campaigns, Kim understands that dance adds value to products and increases brand equity due to its role as a silent communicator able to connect celebratory experiences seen on-screen with product consumption. Centuries of inherent drama live within dance making it impossible for the viewer not to automatically associate the visceral feelings it evokes with the product being marketed.
Kim loves to work with dancers and non-dancers expanding on the person’s most natural movements to produce a congruity between a raw, emotional truth and a physical articulation.
Looking to put together your next flash mob?
As a graduate of Sociology and Dance, Kim has a thorough understanding not only of the elements of physical movement but also the social and historical implications behind them.
What better space to direct our creativity towards than through a call to action with social activism?
Each year Kim is called upon by various feminist collectives to create flash mob choreographies in celebration of the International Women’s Day protest where 100+ women unite in hopes to give new meaning to their possibilities within the public spaces they inhabit, free of misogyny and full of love. We invite you to lend your energy (and booty) to the cause and join us!
